FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Photo Life Emerging Photographers 2011 Competition Call for Entries

Photo Life is pleased to announce the call for entries to the 2011 edition of the Emerging Photographers competition. This annual contest gives Canadian photography students, apprentice photographers and those just beginning their careers a unique opportunity to share their vision and talent with the world.

Going beyond social boundaries, standard techniques and established rules, the 2011 Emerging Photographers competition showcases the freshest ideas and trends in today's photography. Winning photographers will be judged on their ability to capture a true, uncompromised photographic vision as well as demonstrate an original and bold approach in their photography.

From all submissions received, editors will select the most outstanding up-and-coming talents to showcase in Photo Life's August/September issue as well as in the Photolife.com Emerging Photographers' on-line gallery.

Photographers who wish to participate in the Photo Life Emerging Photographers competition are invited to send their submissions exclusively via the on-line facilities at www.photolife.com/emerging. Participants may submit up to three images and must provide technical information along with a brief narrative/comment for each image. Additional information and submission instructions are available on www.photolife.com.
