This Coming Weekend Is All About The Arts

The Queen West Art Crawl began as a one-day event in 2003. Since then it has blossomed into a weekend-long festival of creativity and community. While there don't forget to drop by club member Rod Trider's booth and say hello. http://www.parkdaleliberty.com/show_info.php?page_id=99

Photo Club member John Deweerd will be participating in the second annual Danforth East Arts Fair this coming weekend, September 18th and 19th. John will be selling his greeting cards with photos from BPC outings as well as images from around Ontario and locations throughout the US and Europe. There will be a total of 50 artists displaying their creations at the Fair including other photographers, ceramic artists, jewelers, painters and fabric artists. The Fair runs from 10 to 5 each day and will be at East Lynn Park just west of Danforth and Woodbine. Check out the website at http://www.deca-arts.ca . Past Life: An exhibit by Sean Galbraith

On September 9th, Sean Galbraith will be launching his first solo exhibition which opens at Toronto Image Works gallery in Toronto. Sean is really excited about this exhibition, which is mostly comprised of new work created since he switched to shooting film. The opening reception is an early one, 5pm-7pm, and I hope you can attend. The exhibition runs until October 2nd.
Sean will also be exhibiting at the Queen West Art Crawl in booth C86. The QWAC takes place at Trinity Bellwood Park, towards Queen Street, September 18th and 19th.
